“No jab” rules don’t apply to kinder and child care staff
It’s reported today that the State government’s “no jab, no play” rules don’t apply to teachers or other staff at kindergartens or child care centres.
This seems to leave quite a gap in protecting children who go to kindergarten or child care. Surely, if it’s important for the children to be vaccinated, it’s important for the adults, too?
As my colleague Georgie Crozier MP says, unfortunately this looks like yet another instance where Premier Andrews has rushed in without thinking it through. Let’s hope a solution can be found so kids aren’t exposed to this risk.
