Proposed bus route changes in Whitehorse

Public Transport Victoria is seeking community feedback on a range of proposed changes to bus routes and timetables to start in 2015, particularly in the Whitehorse, Manningham, Bayside, Brimbank and Maribyrnong council areas.

Among the changes, the 901 orbital bus route is proposed to be split into two sections, with the 901 to run between Frankston Station and The Pines Shopping Centre and a new 912 bus between Doncaster Shoppingtown and Melbourne Airport.

The 902 bus route is also proposed to be split into two sections, with the 902 to run between Chelsea Station and Doncaster Shoppingtown and a new 911 bus route between Box Hill Station and Airport West Shopping Centre.

There are also changes proposed to the routes, frequency and hours of operation on other bus services, including local services.
PTV and bus operator Transdev are holding a number of community information sessions about the proposed changes. For the Whitehorse area, the session is on Monday 8 December, Willis Room, Whitehorse Civic Centre, 397 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading from 6pm to 8pm.
