East West Link: Labor leaves Victorians stuck in traffic and stuck with the bill

Before the election, Daniel Andrews promised voters he could tear up the East West Link contract without having to pay compensation, because the contract “isn’t worth the paper it was written on”.

Now it seems Labor have broken that promise, admitting the contract is valid even though they still refuse to let voters see it.

Not only are Victorians stuck with growing traffic congestion, we are stuck with a massive compensation bill thanks to Labor’s broken promise.

Be it Myki, the desalination plant or East West Link, Labor have shown yet again that they can’t manage projects and they can’t manage money.
