Ambulance response times have hardly changed
Last year, the Labor Party told Victorians our ambulance system was in crisis and they would fix it.
Now it’s been revealed ambulance response times have hardly changed since the Labor government came to office.
Victorians are entitled to expect their ambulance service to get to patients within the specified times. The former Coalition government worked to improve the system including through changing paramedics’ work practices. Labor and the paramedics union opposed those changes and said they had other ways to fix the system.
So far, Labor’s ways haven’t worked. Victorians are entitled to expect Labor to deliver on what they promised.
