Bill Shorten’s union took payments from building company

The Age this evening carries allegations that during Bill Shorten’s time as Secretary of the AWU, the union collected huge payments from employers after entering wages deals very favourable to those employers.

 

The payments collected in Bill Shorten’s time make Cesar Melhem’s collections look modest by comparison.

 

With Cesar Melhem having stood down over the allegations against him, Bill Shorten has a lot of explaining to do.
