庆祝 维省新生会 (CCSV) 成立满 20周年

上周维省新生会，一个华人成立的癌症协会迎来它 20 周年的纪念日。

与癌症病魔对抗的路是漫长且艰难，这种艰难在一个非自己母语的新国家尤其如此。

CCSV 提供一个熟悉又亲切的平台，提供民众癌症资讯、谘询与互助，透过饮食控制、运动与健康生活态度一同预防、筛查与对抗癌症。

在上周，我很荣幸联同维州癌症委员会执行长 Todd Harper 一起出席新生会 20 周年的庆祝活动，我们也向 CCSV 的创始人兼执行长 Dorothy Yiu 及数不清的活动志工与支持者们致上最真挚的祝贺。

Chinese Cancer Society celebrates its 20^th anniversary

 

The Chinese Cancer Society of Victoria last week celebrated its 20th anniversary.

 

Fighting cancer can be tough at any time. It can be especially tough in a new country with a different language.

 

CCSV provides familiar and friendly surrounds for information, advice and mutual support on preventing, screening for and tackling cancer, including diet, exercise and healthy living.

 

It was a privilege to join Cancer Council Victoria CEO, Todd Harper, at last week’s celebrations to extend warmest congratulations to founder and President, Dorothy Yiu, and to the countless volunteers and supporters who have made CCSV the great success it is.
