会吵的孩子有糖吃? 暴动暴露的真相

近期位于维州郊区 Malmsbury 的青少年感化院发生了暴动。 感化院中的一个单位沦陷，为暴动犯人接管控制并造成该区严重破坏，暴动僵持中，少年犯使用临时製作的武器抵御警卫长达 3 小时之久。

有鑑于此，自由党领袖 Matthew Guy 呼吁参予这场暴动的少年犯罪领袖应被转移至成人监狱以示警戒。

Teen criminals riot at justice centre

Juvenile offenders recently rioted at the Malmsbury youth justice centre in country Victoria.

They took over control of one of the units at the centre, causing extensive damage and using makeshift weapons to stop guards regaining control for over three hours.

However, instead of taking tough action against rioters, authorities are offering them pizza and soft drinks to end their riots, and allowing inmates to play violent video games involving ramming police cars.

After committing frightening crimes such as home invasions and carjackings, these teen offenders need to be taught to respect the law, not learn they can treat the law with contempt and get away with it.

Liberal leader, Matthew Guy, has called for the ringleaders of this riot to be transferred to adult jails.
