No body, no parole laws to Parliament this week

It’s time to get the law changed so that murderers who won’t reveal where their victim’s body is are not eligible for parole.

The Liberal-Nationals Coalition is introducing legislation into Parliament this week to put this new law on the statute books.

We are calling on all MPs to support this legislation so it can be passed by Parliament and become law.

Where a killer murders a victim and the body can’t be found, that adds even more to the grief of the victim’s family and friends.

If a murderer has been convicted and is in jail, and still won’t disclose where they’ve hidden the body, it shows they don’t have any true remorse, they haven’t been rehabilitated and they don’t deserve any reduction in their time in jail.
