High density threat continues for Melbourne’s east

Further signs have emerged today of the threat to Melbourne’s eastern and southern suburbs of more high density development in residential streets.

Planning “experts” reported by The Age have now supported last week’s recommendation by Premier Andrews’ hand-picked advisers, Infrastructure Victoria, to force more growth into our suburbs.

No-one should have their neighbourhood and their way of life trashed by inappropriate over-development.

Premier Andrews needs to have a proper population policy, as Matthew Guyhas repeatedly called for.  He also needs to commit to keep and enhance residential planning zones that limit any development to what’s reasonable and appropriate for its location.
