Andrews sacks water boards for Labor mates

Daniel Andrews has today announced he is sacking 135 members of water boards across Victoria.

This is yet another step in Labor’s ruthless dismissal or forced resignation of anyone they don’t regard as a Labor mate.

It means skilled, professional, experienced board members are being dumped – members who helped make possible results like the reductions in water bills made under the Coalition last year.

With no-one on water boards who knows what they’re doing, we can expect a return to the bad old days of water under Labor, just like last time, which saw families’ water bills more than double and Victorians pay the price for white elephants like the north-south pipeline and the desalination plant.
