新的少年法院在 Broadmeadows 开幕

好消息！上週有个新的少年法庭在 Broadmeadows正式开幕。 这个项目是当我任职司法部长时和时任社区服务部长的 Mary Wooldridge 一起协助推动的。

这栋新的少年法院除了提供更友善并更有效的方式保护弱势孩童，还会提供审判厅、会议厅、工作区给当事人及需要的相关人员。

这一切都将更有效的协助法院保护弱势孩童、让青少年远离犯罪及维护社区的安全。

New Children’s Court opens in Broadmeadows 

There was good news last week with the official opening of a new Children’s Court in Broadmeadows.

This is a project I helped get underway while I was Attorney-General, together with Mary Wooldridge, the Minister for Community Services.

This new building will be much friendlier for vulnerable children needing protection, and will provide the court rooms, meeting rooms and work areas that the court, the parties and the various support agencies need.

All this will help the court to better carry out its important work to protect vulnerable children, turn juvenile offenders away from crime and help keep the community safe.
