保持电力供给的稳定与价格的亲民

维州电价正在迅速的上涨，随着四月份 Hazelwood 电厂关闭，我们也面临供电不稳定的风险。

儘管潜在的危机，Andrews 政府仍意图进一步提高现今科技还不到位，电价仍然高昂的供电模式，例如风力和太阳能的供电比例，种种举动让维州电力稳定性和电价犹如雪上加霜。

好高骛远，超过当前科技所能负荷的供电目标已有失败先例，邻近的南澳地区，高昂的电价和不稳定的供电状态对产业和民生的冲击就是最好的实例，我们不能让维州也步入南澳的后尘。

与其维州标新立异，制定好高骛远又不切实际的再生能源规则，不如尊循整个澳大利亚政府的能源准则，在循序渐进中求新求变，既可兼顾创新，又可维持能源供给稳定性与价格亲民性。

如明年维州自由党政府于大选中胜出，我们将废除维州现今的再生能源目标，循序渐进中求改变，还给维州产业和人民一个更稳定也更实惠的供电模式。

Keeping electricity reliable and affordable

Electricity prices are rising rapidly in Victoria, and the reliability of our electricity supply is at risk with the closure of the Hazelwood power station in April.

Despite this, the Andrews government is threatening to make the situation worse by introducing a new target requiring more electricity to be produced from unreliable and expensive sources such as wind and solar power.

A target like this has already cause high prices and many blackouts in South Australia. We can’t afford to have the same happen in Victoria.

Instead of having its own separate rules, Victoria should simply follow the rules for renewable energy that are already set by the Australian government for the whole of Australia.

If a Victorian Liberal Nationals government is elected next year, we will scrap the Victorian Renewable Energy Target, so that power bills are more affordable and our electricity supply is more reliable.
