维州警方正大力呼吁要强化法制来打击黑枪，自由党也希望透过强化法制来抑制黑枪并降低无辜生命因枪枝泛滥而受害的风险。

Stronger laws needed for gun crimes

Increasing numbers of illegal guns are being used by criminals to commit shootings and other crimes.

A newspaper report last week claimed that hand guns can be bought illegally in Melbourne for as little as $1,000.

Victoria Police are calling for stronger laws to deter the use of illegal guns. The Liberal Party also wants stronger laws against the dangerous firing of guns that puts the lives of innocent people at risk.

The government needs to act quickly to stop the spread and use of illegal guns. Rising gun crime is risking Melbourne’s safety and reputation.
