贪心议员，拒绝归还纳税人款项

维州议会前副议长 Don Nardella ，至今仍拒绝归纳税人因 Don Nardella滥用房屋津贴而申请的款项。

该津贴原意为补助远郊地区议员因长途奔波来市区议会或公务而设立。

但 Nardella 先生并非远郊地区的议员，他所代表的 Melton 地区乃墨尔本西边近郊的选区，但他自己住在 Ballarat，又声称住在 Ocean Grove 的小车屋裡，进而申报补贴。

而州长 Daniel Andrews 先生拒绝支持迫使 Nardella 偿还滥报的款项不但丢脸，也让人民失望。

Rorting MP still refuses to repay taxpayers

The former Deputy Speaker of the Victorian Parliament, Don Nardella, is still refusing to repay the money he obtained from taxpayers through misusing claims for a second residence allowance.

This allowance is intended to help country MPs meet the cost when they need to spend time in Melbourne for Parliament or other business.

Mr Nardella doesn’t represent a country electorate, he represents Melton in Melbourne’s western suburbs, but he has claimed an allowance while living in Ballarat and while he claims he was living in Ocean Grove in a caravan park.

It is disgraceful that the Premier, Mr Andrews, has refused to support moves to force Mr Nardella to repay the money.
