罪犯暴动破坏青年感化中心

维州主要的青年感化中心因青少年犯暴动而受到严重破坏，如今许多少年犯因破坏严重而不得不暂时迁移住所。

上周青少年犯暴动持续了几个昼夜，也造成数百万澳币的损失，而当局却对这一切束手无策。

维州至今为止，许多遭受家庭暴力入侵、劫车、抢劫等受害者都希望这些少年犯能受到应有的惩罚。 但事与愿违，这些少年犯依旧肆无忌惮，当局仍然无计可施。 暴动时，政府所做的只有提供少年犯披萨和饮料，试图好言好语的柔性劝说他们停止暴动。

Rioting criminals destroy youth justice centre

Victoria’ main youth justice centre has been badly destroyed by rioting young criminals that the offenders have had to be moved out.

The riots last week went on for several days and nights, and have caused millions of dollars of damage, while authorities seemed powerless to stop them.

Victorians who have been the victims of violent home invasions, car-jackings or robberies want to see these offenders punished and deterred from further offending. Instead the offenders seem to do what they like, while the authorities just offer them pizza and soft drink to try to persuade them to stop rioting.

It’s not good enough. The Minister in charge of these centres should be sacked.
