教导孩童情色资讯，是明智之举还是揠苗助长？

据上周新闻报导， Andrews 政府将在明年推出全新的孩童性教育计画。 该计画将要求年仅 12岁的孩童学习色情文学或图片及性相关的广告。

任何政策的推动都要谨慎，而这次政府推动计画前并未和家长们协商或预做足够调查，可如今却又要求所有孩童强制学习而非选择性加入学习。如此贸然的强制性教育计画着实令人担忧。

相信政府推动的所有方案都出于善意，这类教育课程原意在教导孩童两性关係中互相尊重与理解，进而防止家庭暴力发生。然则，正如澳大利亚报纸上的标题：”孩童的性别化并非预防家庭暴力的好方法。＂

或许让孩童过早接触性资讯，反而会揠苗助长。

New school classes to teach children about pornography

 

It was reported in newspapers last week that the Andrews government is introducing a new compulsory program in schools next year that will require children as young as 12 to learn about pornography and sexual advertisements.

 

This is very concerning. There has been no consultation with parents about this program, and all children will be required to take part.

 

The course is supposed to teach children about respectful relationships, in order to help prevent family violence. However, as The Australian newspaper says “The sexualisation of children is not a method of domestic violence prevention.”
