救護車效率欠佳

上周最新救護車響應時間數據顯示，救護車響應救援的效率並無明顯改善，如此結果著實令人擔憂。救人如救火，在緊急情況時維州的人們都期望救護車可以在一個合理的指定時間內到達。

去年工黨政府告訴人民說： “我們的救護車體系已經出現危機，工黨會改善並解決它“。

但當自由黨準備推動改革救護車操作守則並改善運作效率時卻遭到工黨和救護車工會的集體反對，當時他們給出的理由是他們會用他們的方式來解決現今救護車的效率危機。
隨著時間的過去，至今為止工黨的方法完全沒奏效。我在此呼籲政府應該拿出誠意並給人民一個可靠的救護車服務。

Little change in ambulance response times

 
The latest figures for ambulance response times were published last week, and the figures show very little improvement.

This is very concerning. Victorians are entitled to expect their ambulance service to reach patients within the specified times.

Last year, the Labor Party told Victorians our ambulance system was in crisis and they would fix it.

The former Coalition government worked to improve the system including through changing paramedics’ work practices. Labor and the paramedics union opposed those changes and said they had other ways to fix the system.

So far, Labor’s ways haven’t worked. The government needs to do more give Victorians an ambulance service they can rely on.
