政府再生能源新法将推高能源价格

上週 Andrews 州政府宣布，维州将立法规定维州电力 2025 年前要达到 40% 皆为太阳能、风力发电之类的再生能源。

欲速则不达，揠苗助长必有负面影响， 新能源法案会迫使已居高不下的电价雪上加霜。

理所当然的，这不但波及家庭，造成生活成本上扬，更会影响企业竞争力，恶化就业环境。 许多医院已在日益高昂的电费成本下哀鸿遍野，被迫降低服务品质，长此以往，绝非人民之福。

与其揠苗助长，把高昂成本转嫁给维州人民，维州政府最恰当的做法是支持联邦政府已有的再生能源计画，按部就班，稳定中图求改善。

此举或无法使再生能源使用率一飞冲天，但却可循序渐进，把转型对民生与企业造成的冲击降到最低。

State renewable electricity target to push prices higher

Last week the Andrews government announced that it would legislate a target for Victoria to have 40% of its electricity come from renewable sources, such as wind or solar, by 2025.

Forcing such a large and rapid increase in these expensive power sources is likely to see electricity prices continue to soar in Victoria.

This will add to costs for families and make it harder for Victorian businesses to compete and provide jobs.  Many hospitals are already suffering from big increases in electricity prices, forcing them to look at cutting services for patients.

Instead of imposing these costs on Victorians, the State government should be supporting the Australian government’s national scheme for renewable energy projects.
