即使水库满水，政府依然高价收购淡化水

据情资，即使在不缺水的情况下，州政府仍计画在未来三年都向维州海水淡化厂购买淡化水。

目前墨尔本的居民，即使在不购买水的情况下，每年仍需付出超过 6 亿澳币的天价维护费给海水淡化厂。

儘管墨尔本对比去年同期有更充足的水量，我们还是支付额外 2700 万澳币的费用购买淡化水，交水日期为今年的 6 月30 日。

政府购买这些水完全不合逻辑也不需要，看起来政府如此做，只因他们不想承认建设海水淡化厂是一个昂贵的错误，也浪费纳税人庞大的金钱。

Government to buy desalination water even if dams are full

It’s been revealed the State government is planning to buy water from Victoria’s desalination plant for the next three years, even if the water isn’t needed.

Melbourne water customers are already paying more than $600 million a year for the plant, even if no water is taken.

We are also paying a further $27 million to buy a large amount of water to be delivered by 30 June, even though Melbourne’s dams already have more water in them now than at this time last year.

It doesn’t make any sense for the government to buy all this water. It looks like they are only doing it because they don’t want to admit that building the desalination plant was an expensive mistake and a huge waste of money.
