Horrific attack on Chinese family in Box Hill South

Violent crime has continued across Melbourne over the past week, while the government does nothing about it.

In Box Hill South, a young father in a Chinese family is fighting for his life after being bashed outside his home in daylight by attackers who stole his car when he went to pick up his wife from her work.

As his wife says “I see Australia as a safe place, but this has happened…”

Meanwhile, hundreds of police had to use capsicum spray to stop gangs fighting at the Moomba festival, and two police officers were injured when they were attacked.

We need stronger laws and sentences so that crime is deterred and prevented and families can live in safety.
