Box Hill 急需前瞻性的市政规划

近期 Box Hill 公寓高楼有如雨后春笋般冒出，销售期间，人潮更是蜂拥而至。

这看似美好的繁荣亦伴随着潜在的挑战与危机，Box Hill 当前急需一个全新的前瞻市政规划， 以之因应日渐茁壮的小城市，让 Box Hill 更具吸引力，也更受欢迎。

如市政规划不具前瞻性，Box Hill 可能因没规划的开发变得杂乱无章，出现丑陋有碍市容的建筑、错误位置导致地形风的设计、阻隔景观或过度开发造成缺乏空间感的市容，这无一不是挑战，无一不是急需面对的问题。

作为维州 Box Hill 选区的议员，我已呼吁白马市政府针对 Box Hill 面临的挑战，制定一个全新的整体规划案，一个州政府支持的全新规划，一同确保 Box Hill 有足够的学校、交通等基础设施，因应日渐增长的庞大人口。

Box Hill needs new master plan for the future

Many people are rushing to buy apartments in the new high rise towers being built in central Box Hill.

However, Box Hill urgently needs a new master plan to improve its layout and make it more attractive and welcoming for everyone.   If this does not happen, central Box Hill could become an ugly mass of poorly placed towers, with wind tunnels, blocked views and not enough open space.

As the State MP for Box Hill, I am calling for Whitehorse Council to develop a new master plan for central Box Hill, and for the State government to support that plan and ensure Box Hill has enough schools, transport and other facilities for its increased population.
