Box Hill中秋美食节顺利落幕
上周六是墨尔本第 26 届中秋美食节，活动在 Box Hill 举办并吸引成千上万民众涌入。 当天除了有琳琅满目的美食，各式各样的活动摊位外，还有许多让人眼花撩乱的娱乐表演。
活动中给我机会和许多老朋友聚会，也给我机会和拜访我摊位的朋友们交流互动，我透过赠予民众手工中秋灯笼来传递我给大家的节庆祝福。
我今年很荣幸联同联邦议员 Julia Banks MP、维州议员 Neil Angus 及 Graham Watt 共同参加活动仪式。
周六中秋美食节除了可教导孩童有关中秋节的传统文化外，更提供来自不同文化背景的澳洲人通过美食、娱乐和庆祝活动一起互动交流的好机会。
我在此感谢也祝贺墨尔本台湾商会、所有活动贊助商以及为活动付出的志工们。 是大家共同的努力，才能让中秋美食节活动在万众期待中开始，在充满欢乐中圆满落幕。

Thousands visit Box Hill Moon Festival
Thousands of people enjoyed themselves last Saturday at the 26th Melbourne Chinese Moon Festival in Box Hill, with great food, stalls and entertainment.
It was good to catch up with old friends and to meet new visitors at my stall, and to present them with moon festival lanterns.
This year I was pleased to be joined at the official ceremony by Julia Banks MP, the recently elected new Member for Chisholm in the Australian Parliament, as well as by my fellow local State MPs Neil Angus and Graham Watt.
As well as teaching children the traditions of the mid-autumn moon festival, Saturday’s celebrations were an opportunity for Australians of all backgrounds to join in and enjoy the food, fun and festivities.
My congratulations to the Melbourne Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce, to the sponsors and to all the volunteers for making this event such an enjoyable occasion.
