青少年犯强制勒戒令

維州自由党联盟上周宣布一项新的改革，用以打击犯罪，整顿治安。

如果在11 月份的维州大选中胜选，维州自由党联盟政府将为吸毒和酗酒的青少年犯提供强制勒戒治疗， 罪犯将被安置在一个安全的设施中接受治疗。

当下有许多毒品或酗酒问题的青少年犯直接被释放，他们释放后为了支付毒品和酒精的开销，因此再次犯下更多罪刑，形成恶性循环。

这项改革有助于减少犯罪的发生，从根本上逐步改善问题，让维州再次回到安全的社会，藉由远离酒精与毒品，给予青少年一个洗心革面的机会，摆脱不断犯罪的恶性轮迴。

Getting young criminals off drugs

Last week, the Victorian Liberal Nationals announced another reform to help fight crime in Victoria.

If elected at November’s state election, a Victorian Liberal Nationals government will introduce compulsory treatment for young criminals who have a drug or alcohol addiction. Offenders will be held in a secure facility while they undergo treatment for their addiction.

At present, many young offenders with drug or alcohol problems are simply released and go straight back to more crime to pay for drugs for their addiction.

This reform will help cut crime and make Victoria safer, while giving young drug addicts the chance to break their addiction and turn away from crime.
