随着勘探禁令的持续，天然气价格一路飙涨

上週公佈的一项报告显示，维州天然气价格涨幅明显高于其他州。

犹忆两年前，维州当时拥有全澳洲最便宜的天然气批发价，而如今，维州的天然气批发价高居全澳洲最贵。

不幸的是，Andrews 政府已全面禁止维州勘探与开採天然气。由于现有天然气资源无法被开採使用，维州人民也因此面临天然气短缺和价格飙涨的窘境。

应要终止天然气禁令，维州自由党如在今年顺利胜选执政，将终止禁令，让维州重新允许进行天然气的勘探与开採，以此和缓近年一路飙涨的天然气价格。

Gas prices soar as exploration ban continues

A report released last week shows that gas prices in Victoria have increased by more than in any other state.

Just two years ago, Victoria had Australia’s cheapest wholesale gas prices.  Now we have the most expensive.

Unfortunately, the Andrews government has banned exploring for and extracting gas from land in Victoria. Because this gas is not able to be used, Victorians face continued gas shortages and higher prices.

The ban needs to be ended.  The Victorian Liberal Party has committed to end the ban and allow gas to be extracted and used from land in Victoria if it is elected this year.
