调查发现，工党22名议员滥用公款

维州廉政调查员发现，22 名工党部长和议员，在2014 年维州大选中，滥用公款支付党派竞选人员开销超过 38.7 万澳币。

自东窗事发后，Andrews 政府滥用钜额公款，支付法律费，用以阻挡调查行动进行 (该调查行动由议会任命的独立调查员负责)。

所有议员皆有权聘用工作人员，协助议员处理议政相关工作。 然则，工党 22 位部长与议员却滥用公款，秘密聘用人员，投入党部竞选活动，此举明显违反议会规定，更是对人民的不负责。

直至今日，Andrews 州长并未解雇任何涉案部长。众所皆知，一旦有员工偷窃雇主钱，该员工会因此被解雇，而工党部长和议员的行为，为何却不用负责，依然高居其位呢？

Investigation finds 22 Labor MPs misused public funds

An investigation by Victoria’s Ombudsman has found that 22 Labor Ministers and other MPs misused more than $387,000 of public funds to pay for staff to work for the Labor Party in the 2014 State election.

Since then, the Andrews government has misused even more public funds on legal fees to try to block the investigation by the Ombudsman, who is an independent investigator appointed by the Parliament.

All MPs are entitled to hire staff to assist them in their duties as MPs. However, the 22 Labor Ministers and MPs secretly hired these staff to campaign for the Labor Party in the election, in clear breach of the rules.

So far, Premier Andrews has not sacked any of the Minister involved. If anyone else steals money from their boss, they lose their job, so why should these Ministers be allowed to keep their jobs?
