如果自由党联盟政府明年顺利胜出，它将推动政策，舒缓墨尔本和 Geelong 多达 55 个最拥堵的交叉路口。

Liberals to cut road congestion

If a Liberal-Nationals government is elected next year, it will cut congestion at 55 major road intersections across Melbourne and Geelong.

Road grades will be separated at these intersections, with one road passing under the other. This will mean no or fewer traffic lights, and allow most motorists to drive straight through, reducing delays and speeding up travelling times.

Congestion has become a huge problem right across Melbourne, and it will continue to get worse unless something is done about it.

Almost three quarters of Melbourne workers travel to work by car, so cutting congestion will let people get to and from their work more quickly and have more time to spend with family and friends.
