维州监狱内犯罪案飙升

在过去三年内，维州监狱内的犯罪事件大幅度增加。

去年对比同期 2014 年，监狱内成年和青少年犯罪数量增加一倍以上，其中青少年感化院内犯罪案件增幅更是明显。

监狱内犯下的罪刑包括袭击监狱工作人员、暴动、走私毒品和袭击其他囚犯等恶行。

监狱内犯罪案的飙升，代表罪犯不但对法律失去了应有的尊重，更是对公权力的不尊重。 我们维州需要一个全新的政府，一个可以推动强化法治、加重量刑并给我们社区重新带来安全的政府。 唯此，人民的财产方能更有保障，我们的明天也才会更有希望。

Crime surges inside Victoria’s jails

In the last three years, there has been a huge increase in the amount of crime being committed inside of Victoria’s jails.

More than twice as many crimes were committed in adult and juvenile jails last year than in 2014. The biggest increases have been in jails for juvenile offenders.

The crimes committed include attacking prison staff, rioting, smuggling drugs and attacking other prisoners.

This increase in crime shows that criminals have lost respect for the law and for authority. We need a change of government in Victoria to provide strong laws and tough sentences that will help make our community safe again.
