犯罪数据如浪潮，一波似比一波高

目前最新公佈的当季犯罪数据显示，犯罪全面恶化的问题已席捲维州。

维州犯罪率对比同期涨幅达 13.4 % ，抢劫增加 14.2 % ，入室盗窃增加 12.6 % ，人身攻击增幅 11.1%。

犯罪激增的主因之一是前线警力人数遭删减、警察局关门大吉、羁押和保释法宽鬆等多重问题引爆的结果。

就维州犯罪浪潮一事来看，维州政府在保护人民生命财产上实在非常失职，宽鬆应对犯罪问题的处理态度更需悬崖勒马，即时改善方不会太迟。

我和自由党同事们会持续要求政府增加警力、强化法制、将危险罪犯拘禁于牢狱之内而非保释回邻里之中，建立更有效的法律来威慑犯罪及保障人民。

Latest figures show big crime increase

 

The latest crime figures published last week confirm that crime is soaring across Victoria.

 

There has been a massive 13.4% increase in total crime in Victoria over the past year. Robberies a eup 14.2%, burglaries are up 12.6% and assaults are up 11.1%.

 

Crime has surged since frontline police have been cut, police stations have been closed and sentences and bail laws have been weakened.

 

The State government is failing its duty to properly protect Victorians. The soft on crime approach has got to end.

 

I and my Liberal Party colleagues will continue to call for more police, stronger sentences and more effective laws to deter offending and keep dangerous offenders behind bars.
