信用卡盗窃，犯罪的日新月异

据上週报导，盗窃信用卡犯罪每年造成维州人民损失高达 4.5 亿澳币。

这笔损失大体基于网路信用卡个资遭盗与失窃的信用卡被用于 PayWave 交易。

信用卡犯罪与日俱增之时，我们上週亦看到更多冲撞警车与暴力洗劫家庭自营小型商店的犯罪。

除了提醒民众小心使用信用卡，避免个资外洩之馀，我们也呼吁加强法制，推动更强而有力的法律来吓阻犯罪，通过长时间监禁危险犯罪份子来维护社区安宁。

Credit card theft is Victoria’s latest crime wave

Last week it was reported that credit card theft is costing Victorians $450 million a year.

This is through stolen cards being used for PayWave transactions and through credit card details being stolen on-line.

As well last week, there were more police car rammings and more violent robberies of small, family-run shops.

We should all be very careful about our credit card details, but we also need stronger laws to deter offenders and to keep the community safe by locking up dangerous criminals for a long time.
