当犯罪蔓延，暴力恶化

街头暴力和犯罪的持续恶化着实令我担忧，白马市议会于澳洲国庆日上周的庆祝活动正是不幸被大约 100 名酒醉青少年骚扰。

他们骚扰当天出席庆祝活动的家庭并做出威胁警察的行为。在 Burwood 地区，当地的警察局甚至被破坏，而涂鸦更是在各个区域随处可见。

祸不单行的是工党政府在最需扩大警力资源投入时，却倒行逆施的削减警察人数， 这一切都意味着我们的社会将无法被妥善保护。 州长 Andrews 必需要悬涯勒马，给维州需要的警力来维护民众生命财产的安全。现今亡羊补牢，犹时未晚。

Crime in our suburbs continues to spread

I’m very concerned that street violence and crime are continuing to get worse.

Whitehorse Council’s Australia Day celebrations last week were disrupted by a group of around 100 drunken teenagers, who harassed families attending the celebrations and tried to intimidate police.

In Burwood, even the local police station has been vandalised, and graffiti is appearing everywhere across our suburbs.

The problem is that the State Labor government has cut police numbers, meaning our community is not being properly protected.

Premier Andrews must reverse this decision and give Victoria the police we need.
