自由党推动改革，不交代受害者尸体，则严禁假释”

自由党上周于维州议会提案对假释法案做出改革，如果凶手不愿透露受害者尸体位置，则严禁假释。

当受害者不幸被凶手谋害，在尸体无法找到的情况下，那会徒增受害者家属心中的悲痛。

有鑑于此，当凶手被收监定罪，却又拒绝透露受害者尸体位置时，这无疑代表凶手并未真正悔过，既未真正悔过，那就不应得到减刑的待遇。

我在此呼吁所有议员支持这项法律改革，也唯此，新的法案才能在议会通过，最终成为法律。

Liberals introduce legislation for “No body, no parole”

The Liberal Party introduced legislation into the Victorian Parliament last week to change the law so that a murderer can’t obtain parole if they won’t reveal where their victim’s body is.

Where a killer murders a victim and the body can’t be found, that adds even more to the grief of the victim’s family and friends.

If a murderer has been convicted and is in jail, and still won’t disclose where they’ve hidden the body, it shows they don’t have any true remorse, they haven’t been rehabilitated and they don’t deserve any reduction in their time in jail.

We are calling on all MPs to support this legislation so it can be passed by the Parliament and become law.
